What's the difference between beard balm and beard oil?
Beard oil is a liquid conditioning treatment that absorbs quickly to moisturize skin and soften hair. Beard balm has a thicker, butter-like consistency and provides both conditioning AND light hold — making it ideal for shaping and taming longer beards. Many men use both: oil for moisture, balm for styling.
How do I apply beard balm correctly?
Scoop a small amount (about a thumbnail-sized portion) with your fingernail or beard balm tin edge, melt it between your palms until it liquefies, then work it through your beard from root to tip. Style with a beard comb or boar bristle brush to shape as desired.
Does the African Musk beard balm actually hold the beard in place?
It provides a light-to-medium hold — enough to tame flyaways, shape your beard line, and control frizz throughout the day. It's not a hard-hold wax. For a more polished look on longer beards, layer with a small amount of beard wax on the moustache.
What does African Musk smell like?
African Musk is a warm, earthy, slightly sweet scent — think sandalwood with a hint of amber. It's masculine without being sharp or overpowering. The scent lingers subtly throughout the day and has been our most popular fragrance since launch.

The scent is very attractive
I’ve never experience this scent anywhere. I think it’s unique to this brand. It is really well crafted. I use this daily for my short beard and it’s definitely helping it grow.
