Jasper | Scented Candle

Jasper is a hand-poured luxury soy candle made in Toronto. The scent is dark and resinous — cedarwood, black amber, and a quiet thread of smoke. Not sweet, not floral, not seasonal. It belongs in a study, a workshop, or any room where you actually spend time and want it to smell like you chose the atmosphere on purpose.

The scent

Cedarwood forms the base — warm, dry, slightly smoky. Black amber adds depth and resin without sweetness. The overall effect is masculine without being heavy-handed. It fills a medium-sized room easily without taking over a small one. Burns clean from first light to last.

If you've been burned by candles that smell strong in the store and disappear within 20 minutes of burning — this isn't that. The scent throw is consistent from the first burn to the bottom of the glass.

What it's made from

• Wax: 100% coconut-soy blend. Burns cooler and cleaner than paraffin, with no petroleum byproducts. Holds fragrance better than straight soy.
• Wick: Cotton string wick — completely silent when burning. No crackling, no charring, no residue.
• Vessel: Clear glass container. Lets in more light than tinted glass, giving a stronger, cleaner glow especially in the evening.
• Fragrance: Phthalate-free. No synthetic dyes. No lead in the wick.

Burn specs

• Burn time: approximately 70 hours
• Recommended burn: 2–3 hours per session to allow the melt pool to reach the edges and prevent tunneling
• Trim wick to 5mm before each burn for a cleaner, more consistent flame

Jasper works best in rooms you use regularly: a bedroom, a home office, a living room where you spend evenings. The scent is present without being overpowering — a large room at 70 hours gives you two months of consistent evening use.
